Lust, deceit, and the unquiet dead have made their way to Silkshore. Where will the crew fit in?

Madame Tesslyn, owner of the most prestigious brothel in Doskvol and powerful information broker, has made the discovery of a lifetime: the true name of a member of the Spirit Wardens. She is planning on using this information to take control of the spirit trade in Silkshore, using it to help her more... eccentric clientele. While this Spirit Warden is trying to get out from under her control, what neither of them know is that the Unseen have caught word that the Madame has this information, and they very much would like to have it. What role will the crew play in this events? Will they assist the Spirit Wardens in tying up this loose end? Will they help the Madame in her goals? Or will the Unseen use them as puppets for their own ends?

The Lady in Red is a starting situation for Blades in the Dark by John Harper taking place in the district of Silkshore. It centers around Madame Tesslyn, owner and proprietor of the Red Lamp Brothel, as a starting point for a campaign. It creates specific goals, develops her as her own faction, and incorporates elements from the setting to provide everything you need to get started in your next Blades campaign.

Content Warning: Being based around a brothel, their will be themes around sex work, sexual exploitation, coercion, and other related topics that may arise in play.
